To avoid the neverending list of spells I am using a framework that basically allows all kind of magic miracles, if motivated and accepted by the GM. Party only use it for fireball but I plan some TPK twist soon.

Do you remember which mode had the double move problem? Also, it was the AI or player turn? This is really odd, i fixed it ages ago and never happen again. About the AI, I put a more accurate version in the options but a "true chess AI" is a lot of work. A LOT.
