Sounds like not too biggie of a problem with some add ons. Also, that's interesting to hear that the Pi 5 can wake itself up!

Cool! Thanks!
Oh! Another quick question - the lens glare piece, would there be any reason that could not be 3d printed rather than laser cut pieces? Thank you in advance
Oh wow! Ok, great! Thanks for the info! Also, would there be any reason it could not run on a Pi 3B+? Could the Pi 3B+ be used to at least capture the images, then the classifcation done elsewhere?
Hey! Does the light trap (catch and release) attract different insects? What would be the advantages to the box?
Also, have you seen MothBox DIY @dinalab.bsky.social? π
Cool!
@dinalab.bsky.social Been looking through the Mothbox DIY documentation, it's pretty neat! With regards to the camera for Mothbox DIY, why was the ArduCam OwlSight chosen rather than a Pi Camera module?
Cool!
Hey! I'm trying to see if there's interest in an interactive Robot Butterfly performance. It would be super helpful if anyone out there could complete this survey, it should only take 3 minutes! Thank you π forms.gle/8CKTG8PDAbho...

Enjoy the interplay of the similar colour hues here, nice work!
Robot Butterfly sporting brilliant red wings as it appears in the foreground of winterberry holly. The red berries dot the landscape, contrasting from the bland branches. The sun is setting, as seen through the trees.

The December edition of the Field Robot Chronicles newsletter is here, covering a recap of the season's activities and highlights. Check it out here: robotinthepark.org/newsletter/ (and consider signing up if you want!)
Camera with lcd screen in focus showing four 3d printed pieces, each adorned with a unique smile expression, with a gradient colour scheme spanning four distinct colours. In the background, those same pieces are exhibited on a table with a white backdrop.
The colours are extra groovy on this set π Here's a preview of four new enclosure designs for Robot Butterfly (or perhaps some other critter!)

A group of young bunnies have built a 'robot' made from cardboard boxes and other things. They are now proceeding down the hallway, knocking over a lamp, to the chagrin of their parent
Daily bunny no.3187 wants to be a robot
It's the little things eh! π π
Great capture and congrats to the Toucan!
Interesting shape and texture of the water across the surface of the sand / mud!
Nice colours! βΊοΈ
This looks like such a quaint park for imaginary games & worlds to take place π
Even the trees look like they are stretching to the sun rise! π
Nice fog :)
(Stumbled across this from browsing photography hashtags) Sorry to hear, hope you will have a smooth recovery. Incredible photo with the light and reflections!! What metering mode would you recommend for photos like this?
Incredible! Does the river freeze over entirely? Must be so serene to skate there βΊοΈ
So cool - can see the tiny village in between the clouds! The height of those trees is really impressive!
The soft glow is really nice!
View from the shores of Lake Ontario. The water is frozen to a point. The photo is visually interesting with the different shades of blue. Robot Butterfly is in the middle of the photo.

Sorry for all the questions -- thinking of having a try at plaster moulds again. Do you spray the top of the plaster liquid with isopropyl alcohol to remove bubbles?
Ah wow, you do the step of making a silicone mould! Nice. For mixing the plaster, do you use a whisk by hand or an immersion mixer? That's interesting about mixing hydrocal in as well. What ratio of water do you use? Do you let the plaster slake in water before mixing?
Cool! Nice design on the mould π Sounds a little bit thicker than slip π
Any tips on making plaster moulds? What was your process like for that?
Remember those moments in museums that captured your curiosity and imagination?
Iβm currently exploring bringing Robot in the Park into museum spaces - robotinthepark.org/museum-exhib...
Would be great to hear any recommendations of museums!
