They label themselves as blues, jug band, americana, and I keep looking for similar music through those genres but everything I find just feels like it's missing something, usually a harmonica..

Like, ska has this big full sound and utilizes interesting instruments and a lot of them, really filling the space in a song
Sass is that but with more banjos and harmonicas.. and accordions, sax, fiddles, washboards, I think at one point a bucket..

Trying to figure out how to explain my thoughts and feelings on Sassparilla and music in general while being musically inept..
It's like rural ska.. does that make sense? Can I make that make sense?
