The hard part is separating fun from grinding scores, which I have never been able to do ever since I touched this game
Not only grinding scores, it's really soul-crushing to invest all that time studying mapping and creating something I thought I could be proud of (visuals and structure-wise), to then get slapped in the face when experiencing it outside of the editor - which is the point of the game after all.
It only took one session of osu - lasted around 2h started by playtesting my map, then playing offline trying to beat my old scores - to realise how much I fucking hate playing this game

My stance is that it actually allows to show with a number that mrekk is by far the #1 player given his absurd skillcap potential, which is way more accurate than the previous pp rework.
Then again, I think that pp is a mistake in the first place so... 🤷🏻♂️
