Hell. Yeah. #springsteen
Rumors that a new Springsteen tour is getting announced on Tuesday. π
Missed opportunity.
They could have used the ad to point how how immigrants have been a strength to the U.S. throughout history. Especially given current events here.
Everyone always jokes about how the Monday after the Super Bowl should be a holiday....
Here I am with a staff meeting before *and* after work tomorrow. Double dip. So much winning.
America wins when Robert Kraft loses.
Just watched a Budweiser ad that declared "Made of America for 150 years."
Well, about that....one of the reasons Prohibition happened in this country was nativism directed at German brewers.
Adolphus Busch and Eberhard Anheuser were both born in Germany.
I have been less excited for this Super Bowl than any in recent memory.
Itβsβ¦.certain living up to my expectations.
Because itβs 5 oβclock somewhere, crack open a cold one and join @ryandroste.bsky.social & Bryan Orenchuk on their latest Bears Over Beers for some #Bears offseason talk, the latest on the stadium and more!

I can think of precisely two biopics from the last... *ever*... that have actually worked in their own right as films -- Love And Mercy and the Luhrmann Elvis film. It's a genre with about as high a success rate as cures of symptomatic rabies, and its failures are almost as unpleasant.
They are showing the same 5 or 6 fans when they go for their "audience shock" camera cuts on this show, probably because the event is so poorly attended. #RoyalRumble
It's hard to tell because of those stupid LED lights but man....I see entire rows that look nearly empty. Several of them.
What percentage of this stadium is empty do we think? 25%? 30%? #RoyalRumble #WrestleSky
CNN wrote a story about something that happened to my mom when she was 16.
It's a really good story. Check it out:

Hey bud, everything Alan Alda was in....all fake.
It was choreographed. Scripted even!
You get that, right?
(Also, I love Alan Alda)
I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. Itβs dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

I donβt have it handy right now. Itβs accurate. Was out there a few weeks ago. We talked about it on Bears Over Beers.
That is correct. He had more lost yardage on drops than any QB in the league. And that didn't include potential YAC (Zacchaeus dropped a sure-fire 90 yard TD at one point this year).
Exactly. Caleb is a great litmus test on who actually knows ball. The amount of big plays he had this year are a window into the completion percentage. He throws it away. Barely throws any picks across a large sample size (two seasons).
I probably shouldn't even give these guys exposure but wow.
Odunze dropped a perfect TD tonight. The pick in OT was on DJ Moore and should have set up the game winning FG. etc etc.
Caleb's first playoffs were electric. He made two of the best throws in NFL postseason history in back to back weeks. Not in Bears' history, NFL history. That's not hyperbole.
Heck of a 1st year for the Ben Johnson #Bears You walk away seeing that the Bears have their HC and QB, two of the hardest things in the NFL to nail down.
Window for contention is open. Major moves on defense in the offseason. Another year in Ben's offense, arrow up. This is the floor. Fun ahead!
The absolute epitome of stat watching in the worst way
If you watched Caleb Williams in the playoffs this year and your takeaway is his stats look bad, you probably shouldn't spend another minute covering the NFL
Of course, it's a Packers writer. Absolutely brain dead. And jealous (understandable)
lol
Welcome back to Bluesky everybody!
Do you think the US Sen race moves from likely to lean at some point? I'll be very interested to see some polling of that race.
