That dev livestream *checks calendar* nine days ago sure was something, huh?! I did have some thoughts: #SWTOR

That dev livestream *checks calendar* nine days ago sure was something, huh?! I did have some thoughts: #SWTOR
*bleary-eyed blinking* So, uh... I was kind of preoccupied for the last week... #SWTOR
Today is 3/2/26. 6 years in my current position, but 14 on Star Wars: The Old Republic! Who knew this would be my 3rd career & the most rewarding? I love this project & my team with a fiery passion. This year is exciting as we near our 15th anniversary! I wouldnβt rather be anywhere else. MTFBWY!
And of course as I say that... they finally confirmed a date for the stream. π News on Wednesday!
While I continue to wait for news about the SWTOR dev stream, here's another #WorldofWarcaft post:
One of those blog posts about blogging, in this case in the context of #WorldofWarcraft:
I think I just saw my first AI written article about SWTOR. It was an almost 10,000 word monstrosity seemingly trying to cover every SEO topic about playing through the story (I couldn't stand reading it because of the obvious AI style but that's what I got from skimming). Huh.
Good stuff π
You should talk more about why the old Republic is awesome in exactly the opposite way! When I first started on Bluesky I found you because you were posting about SWTOR a few times.
I checked my SWTOR drafts folder and found a half-completed post about the history of Conquest. With another Total Galactic War looming next week (uh-oh!) now seemed a good time to finish it:
8.0 at the end of this year or early next year. The next update in general? Should be soon, the stream announcement for it should come any day now.
I had some thoughts about Midnight class changes last night. As a casual, I don't care about (knowing) the perfect rotation. I just want some buttons that are fun to press and make sense. That's... not the case right now. #WorldofWarcraft
The War Within: InΒ Review
The War Within was an expansion of all time. Okay, okay, let's actually attempt to summarize how I feel about it now that it is mostly in the rearview as we hurtle at full speed towards Midnight. For me, The War Within is two halves - a gameplay half and a story/settingβ¦
I've seen a lot of talk about /played time in #WorldofWarcraft over the past couple of weeks and decided to do a bit of introspection of my own:
I know @thisweekinaurebesh.bsky.social already posted some screenshots, but I just had to make a short post about last weekend's #SWTOR adventure as well:
Today I take a look at the most recent changes to Exile's Reach, #WorldofWarcraft 's "tutorial island" - I was pleasantly surprised:
@blueskyfeedcreator.com My feeds have now been paused three times in three days. I get checking for activity every so often, but this seems excessive. What's going on?
WoW Factor: World of Warcraftβs The War Within β great expansion or greatest expansion? MOP's Tyler has opinions...
#WorldofWarcraft
From the title I thought this was going to be a "pie in the sky, let's dream about whatever" type episode. I was pleasantly surprised by the realistic approach! π
I'm near the Video Game Professionals cloud as well for some reason! Though I'm more baffled by some of my other neighbours being "Everton Football Club Supporters" and "British Wildlife and Birding Community".
I've had more fun than expected in Mists of Pandaria Classic (after expecting nothing, basically) buuut I think I'm getting close to the point where I'm ready to move on again. Notes on what I've been up to: #WorldofWarcraft
It's time to don the nostalgia goggles for a day! π Not just to look back though, but also to think about how the past relates to the present and future of story in #SWTOR:
Midnight is less than a month away. I've pre-purchased and expect to have fun with it. But somehow, I'm not feeling excited for a new expansion like I usually would: #WorldofWarcraft
Lol, the boop on the kitten's nose at the end. π»
Very interesting interview with Holly and Ion about the current and future direction of WoW. One tidbit I found interesting for example was their talking about how the classic and modern audiences are very different.
You've got to take Bellular videos with a massive grain of salt. Everything is always the best or the worst, whatever makes for the best clickbait title in any given week.
Before I cast my gaze towards Midnight, a brief look back at The War Within #WorldofWarcraft: priestwithacause.blogspot.com/2026/02/was-...
I'd ask to exchange the frame for one made out of some hypoallergenic material then.
That shouldn't be a thing. Maybe your body doesn't like the specific material that pair is made of?
Just caught up with the 2026 State of Azeroth. "Holly, no!" was such a tease, day-um.
