Today is 3/2/26. 6 years in my current position, but 14 on Star Wars: The Old Republic! Who knew this would be my 3rd career & the most rewarding? I love this project & my team with a fiery passion. This year is exciting as we near our 15th anniversary! I wouldn’t rather be anywhere else. MTFBWY!

I think I just saw my first AI written article about SWTOR. It was an almost 10,000 word monstrosity seemingly trying to cover every SEO topic about playing through the story (I couldn't stand reading it because of the obvious AI style but that's what I got from skimming). Huh.

I checked my SWTOR drafts folder and found a half-completed post about the history of Conquest. With another Total Galactic War looming next week (uh-oh!) now seemed a good time to finish it:

The War Within: In Review The War Within was an expansion of all time. Okay, okay, let's actually attempt to summarize how I feel about it now that it is mostly in the rearview as we hurtle at full speed towards Midnight. For me, The War Within is two halves - a gameplay half and a story/setting half, one of which was absolutely spectacular and one of my favorite WoW expansions of all time and the other is a threadbare mess of clear priority shifts and unclear ideas.
