Hey just wanted to check in and say that I was safe from the Eaton Fire. I was just outside of the evacuation range, so I didn't have to leave. It's been a really stressful chaotic week, but I'm very fortunate - a lot of residents and community businesses to the north lost their homes💔

There is a family of squirrels that live in my backyard. They constantly rearrange my flower pots, but then they follow me around and look cute🐿️

yeah tbh the regular visits were one of the first things I consciously enjoyed doing in CA, it was a turning point

I have membership to Descanso Gardens and visit it every Sunday at 8am before it opens to the general public/kiddie train rides start. I guess it is my nature-y version of rope drop at theme parks😊
