I got a revise-and-resubmit for the story of my heart !!! My very first!! An educational publisher in UK wanted one of my poems but I wasn’t able to sell it since I already sold it to “The School Magazine” but very happy anyway. And lots of rejections, but trying to focus on the pluses. #kidlitchat

Most of my manuscripts have a character whose name is either a truncation or variation of my four-year-old son’s name since most of my work is inspired by him. I know that’s not very creative. #kidlitchat

Winning Wars With Peace by Pallavi Jesrani When injustice reigned all across the land, they raised uplifting voices, and took a steadfast stand. One sought independence one strove for civil rights, with strong resolve and passion that scaled the highest heights. They both revered the truth, and each one had a dream. Their stirring words aroused, and thousands joined their team. At no time did they use arms or ammunition. Non-violence was a core value of their missions. They marched away to Dandi. Made their own free salt. Marched off to Montgomery, and led a bus boycott.

I found my rhyming critique partner Pam on #12x12PB. She has been invaluable in her feedback for my rhyming stories/poems.

Tea all day. Black in the morning, herbal at night. Coffee only when the little one has kicked a lot in bed.

Sorry I missed the slot today. I’ve been reading “The night before Christmas” to my 4 year old every Christmas. We made a ginger bread house together now that he’s old enough to participate and loves all types of things construction 😁 #kidlitchat
