I will keep saying it: journalism students are always among the most dedicated, hardworking students on any campus. Right up there with student athletes, but often receive almost no recognition. High five a high school or college journalist when you see them. They deserve it. 🙌
I learned after the Woolsey Fire that a side effect from trauma can be the inability to keep a schedule. I felt this deeply in the weeks that followed in 2018 (and into 2019). I am experiencing that now, too, following the Franklin Fire. Thankful for the people around me with gentle reminders.
I don’t always wear perfume, but when I do it has been the same scent for the past 16 years.
