Nocode might have been a good stepping stone in getting us here, but it seems the final form of nocode is... code.
We slowly migrated off, and the last one I actually built in Webflow, exported, and asked Cursor to de-Webflow it (it's now totally maintained in code and connected to our own headless cms).
I think nocode might be dead.
A year ago all our websites ran on either Webflow or Framer.
Now, zero do.

AI is going tip the talent scale in favor of generalists. A generalist can prompt their way to becoming more impactful in more areas than any specialist.
Great product ideas often come from creating something flexible and seeing how people creatively use it in unexpected ways. For example, when we've added a notes panel to a SaaS app, it's always been used in surprising ways, highlighting gaps in the product.
I've been reviewing portfolios lately, and there's still too much focus on pixels. A designer's portfolio isn't just about aesthetics; it's a narrative about their thinking. The best portfolios don't merely display attractive mockups; they explain the reasoning behind each decision.
Hereby vowing to never suggest adding a coachmark again. No one reads the onboarding tutorial, no one clicks the tooltip, and no one watches the walkthrough video. If it’s not intuitive, it’s broken.
