HUH?👀
HUH?👀
How much would I have to pay someone to stream this shit? 👀

I hate trying to come up with short titles - in part because I hate clickbait, but then you have to keep the title short anyway. This video is guide on how to use "LiveSplit.StreamerBot" component I wrote.
Going to go and try and make more examples on Github's wiki.

Millions of dollars burned and for what... 👀
I guess, at least it hasn't done as much damage to the industry and its surroundings as Concord did, but still - absolutely crazy how anyone thought that this is what gamers would want and spend money on.
I have finally fixed it - in kind of a brute force way, but it's fine - save files so far are still only like 1MB per save.
Happy birthday!
I will just drop this in here - you might find it useful if you are a speedrunner who uses StreamerBot. And maybe post a video and some more examples over this week.

Hey so we just announced SPRAWL zero, a new FPS that we've been working really hard on.
Inspired by classics like Bungie's Halo and Marathon, as well as Half Life 2 and anime from the era, this is our love letter to the golden years of FPS. Wishlists would rule <3

1182 physics entries to verify between saves... ughhhh
I don't want to work on save files any more.... 😬
Since my LiveSplit plugin that connects it to VTube Studio is a bit hard to use requiring Lua knowledge, I have decided to try my luck with just mapping LiveSplit states in StreamerBot. In some ways this is more limiting, but it now also allows you to execute actions outside VTS.
This is some impressive level of tone-deaf PlayStationDE, to ask a question like this barely 2 days after announcing BluePoint closure.

Is the r gamer slur allowed on bsky? Sony/PlayStation really deserves to be called it right now...
Holy fuck... what? That is based.😂
And Steam Decks are about to be out of stock in some regions.
I am starting to doubt the claims that this won't be as big as dot com bubble. Not when you have such a insanely massive expansion of extremely expensive hardware that may end up never being used after it pops.
"Age" gating servers using AI surely won't end up badly...
And the thing is - I have been dealing with corpos like this for so long, that I know it won't be just based on violence, gore, nudity etc. It never is just that.
Good to see Seth Ickerman direct another clip, especially after atrocious The misfits / the rebels. And it's way more interesting of a song as well even if maybe too close to previous work. www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Eqf...
It's been a week. Reception was positive (although my brain hoper-focuses on 2 dislikes). It's not massive, but idea is now in the wild (not just on YT) and potentially can get bigger one day.
If anything, aside from my writing and editing I worry what I could have done better.
PC gamers need to stop defending Capcom and their actions.
It's been now multiple years in the row of them adding DRMs to older releases and in ways so intrusive that it had a noticeable impact on performance or Linux compatibility.
HOLY FUCK, that pissed me off.
Literal scammy manipulative behavior there, Discord. This is something I would expect from a porn site or companies like G2A.
And if I am paying you monthly - you could literally verify my age using transaction that I pay you for Turbo by asking me for "3D secure".
And as I have mentioned on X - age verification shouldn't be allowed until token verification is an option like proposed in DSA.
"Quick deletion: Identity documents submitted to our vendors are deleted quickly—in most cases, immediately after age confirmation."
Nice wording, so that means up to 50% can potentially not be deleted right after the age confirmation for this to be true... also they already had a breach once.
And what's worst is that as far as I understand if you want to dig out the truth you need to pay a subscription to one of the news outlets that reported it (which is in Norwegian!) and no English media verified it, while otaku news websites just run with "he was arrested for playing VN". 😬
"Norwegian arrested for playing VN" is one of the worst cases of media reporting in the recent years with a title bait so bad, that people still believe it to be true...
As opposed to a Norwegian being arrested for downloading CSAM, which was the reason for the raid, which THEN found the game 😫
There is more technical write up about it on my blog as well:

I think it's time to release this to a wild:

I hate myself for this title, but it is true! Utilising BC7 is optimisation.
I should have my VTube Studio optimization video ready any day now - just need to double check a couple of things (although if I am wrong about how big of a problem VRAM usage is, it's because it was hard to gather that information with Vtubers not willing to share it).
Thank you to everyone for the birthday wishes and gifts. And also thanks to everyone to dropped in to check out me revisiting the worst game ever created - Limbo of the Lost (if you are a streamer - you should check out Enhanced Edition!). It was exhausting, but really fun day!
Mid-life crisis starts....now.
