I’m sorry, been in the situation a few times as well. I end up talking to them about how “it’s okay to stop and rest now, we’re taking care of you and everything else so don’t worry…we love you, we know you love us, you don’t have to keep fighting anymore” kind of thing. Seems to help, idk.
