Two years ago when I was still working on Destiny we didn’t quite have the time to get cookies for Archie into The Dawning. I made a note that we should do it in the future. I mentioned it to one of the event designers this year, and they made it happen. 🥺❤️ Give him all the treats!

I’ve been dark on here for a while. Anyway, we’ve been busy. :)

Honestly I just watched a lore video to catch up on Eternal, not that the story is what’s driving my enjoyment 😂 but yeah it’s good stuff haha

New DOOM is good. I am almost surprised to write that because I bounced off of 2016 (other than multiplayer) and Eternal pretty quickly. Something about the rhythm and loop of combat in this one is hitting the right notes for me, and less reliance on glory kills to stay healthy. Also, shield go brr.

I don’t know what the answer is, but requiring folks to move to the most expensive places in the country for work, not paying them enough to own homes or save, and then laying them off ain’t it

Dang after 20+ years I’m finally going full team red after Nvidia couldn’t figure out how to use all that money and market power to actually put products in hands. Should be an interesting switch.

I once full-palm grabbed a light bulb seconds after we turned off the light to see if it cooled down immediately. I was probably 9? I think that’s old enough to know better.

Custom games with such robust options really gave it such a long tail. It was so cool to see community-made modes like zombies and SWAT become official modes in 3 and beyond, but there was something so special about the organic spread of those custom modes, too.

Happy 20th birthday, Halo 2 ❤️ the catalyst that drove me to pursue game development as a career. Too many great stories to count came from the years I spent playing H2.

It’s been a long time since I regularly did any kind of drawing but I’m thinking of starting up a webcomic where I highlight some of the sillier moments of my gamedev career or (hopefully) universal gamedev experiences. Would y’all be interested in that at all? Lots of material there I’m sure 😂
