I do love time change weeks. Left 15 minutes early for work, and I've been sitting on the highway for 50 minutes in a backup by Boeing.
@whiskeypup
Retriever Furry/Pup of the 2-legged sort (he/him); waggy, drooly & prone to chewing on things in the Seattle area. Cooking, hiking, and far too much FFXIV talk within. Currently fixating HARD on Guild Wars 2! @dogontherocks for all the AD stuff. >.>

My chompers got fixed! Yay! :3
I forgot the words we were supposed to say for my first confession in 3rd grade; the priest screamed at me, and that just....stuck.
Hating the time change, but also waiting for the dentist to open so you can see if there are appointments... Really hoping I can get this tooth fixed, and wouldn't mind an excuse not to go into the office either. >.>
Friends convinced me to play WoW with them and I'm having a really fun time! Oh no. OH NO.
Feeling wiped out, antianxiety meds are a heck of a drug.
Slowly coming online in this post time change world, and I'm thinking pancakes, butter, and maple syrup may make things better. :9
Bleh. I hate that feeling when you've done everything you currently can and now just have to wait until something can be resolved.
I'm sure my tooth will be fixable but I feel so unsettled just... Sitting and waiting.
Time for weed and distractions perhaps.
I just chipped a front tooth, bad. No pain, dentist not open until monday and oh BOY I can feel a good ole spiral coming on. o.o
*squeeze* Im sorry you're having to deal with this; I wish the chaos would just slow the eff down. XD
Quest for Breakfast Sandwich: The Bodega-ing
Awww, thank you for saying foxy! I don't always reply, but I always enjoy reading what my friends choose to share. Big squeezes and bigger breakfast sammiches to you on this rainy Saturday morning. :D
I like the stream of consciousness posts, they help me feel connected to friends and acquaintances. Banal sometimes sure, but it's nice to be reminded we are all living our lives.
Was this close to calling in from work, but most of the supervisors already did so I should probably head into the office. Drat.
At least I get to go get blood drawn first? Yay? Question mark?
Wishing us all a decent Friday and what peace we can find, despite the horrors.
Lrt: I had never watched an episode of Designing Women, never heard of that scene growing up, but holy shit (pardon my language) that is amazing.
This episode about AIDS was called "Killing All the Right People," and originally aired on October 5, 1987.
Context: Ronald Reagan was president, a president who appallingly overlooked the AIDS crisis because he and Nancy had more in common with Imogene Salinger than Julia Sugarbaker.
Windows 14 rumored to have a free trial with no limit on playtime all the way up to level 70, including the award winning expansions "Heavensward" and "Stormblood," sources say.
I'm hoping so!
Wired my mom some $ only to find she closed the account previously and I didn't know. Well, fuckbeans. Hope I'll get that back somehow.
Windows 13 rumored to be "collecting hearts released from heartless" in an attempt to open Kingdom Hearts, sources say
After 5ish years on it in one form or another: today is the first day without Omeprazole and oh God my entire stomach and throat are one mass of burning acid. -.-
Trying to wean off the stuff, doc was concerned about bone density, but ow ow ow.
...would.
Good luck to you on this journey you're about to undertake!
Something as small as going into a work an hour later to account for a doctors appointment is still making the morning routine much nicer and more relaxing.
All the extra sunlight sure isn't hurting, either! Finally feeling like I have the energy and serotonin to enjoy mornings, vs enduring. *wag*
And now this latest development leaves me really wanting to know what happens next. The hooks are deep! #VagueToAvoidSpoilers
Mom, come pick me up, the best lack all conviction and the worst are full of passionate intensity.
All my morning meetings were moved to be between 2-4 today. No afternoon WFH, grr... Hopefully the day will go quickly anyhow!
Rough night of the sort where you wake up in the wee morning hours either too hot under the blankets or freezing without them, and no amount of sticking a foot out to act as heat sink helps. So tempted to try to wfh today...
Yeah, I tend to hermit up a lot these days - I like living out in the suburbs but I tend to be a total homebody as a result.
My usual coffee haunt is Bequest in Mill Creek, but I'm down to try something new. :9
Might do Bear Social at the Lumberyard tomorrow, if that's a vibe at all. *nodnod*
Jeeze, maybe that WAS seasonal depression, despite the vitamin d.
I'm sitting outside on a cool day, but am being gently toasted by warm sunbeams so it all evens out; feeling a weight lift, if that makes sense. Feels almost like spring!
Me? Seeking distraction? No, no, not at all.
I'm just running around desperately trying to find decent Charr light armor fashion in GW2 with three or four wiki windows open while also attempting not to doomscroll like is perfectly normal to do on a Saturday morning.
