This isnβt the first thing Iβve liked that started sucking and it wonβt be the last, itβs just a shame itβs this thing specifically π
A shark shaped duffel bag. A hat that says lobster rolls.
A tuna shaped purse.
Aquatic fashion. π¦
A big beautiful gothic building set in black and white.
A familiar contraption illuminated in a blue light.
A beautiful house, with one of the ornate rooms bathed in green light with moonlight filtering in.
I enjoyed finding items and trying to figure out puzzles which had you jumping from film to film to figure it out and unlock new areas. My complaint is that the enemy stalking you gets tiresome pretty quickly & comes at you far too much, especially when I want to take in the gorgeous scenery.
The main menu of Dead Format.
Your sibling's apartment, the front door is backlit by a bright light. A happy birthday banner hangs with some letters falling down.
The Silent Film, black and white area of the game. Two statues are in the middle, with gothic architecture surrounding the area.
A creepy eyeball in the wall, with my fleshy gun pointed at it. Red lighting all over.
Finished Dead Format. A game about cursed horror VHS tapes that you go into to find your lost sibling. A concept that is so unbelievably cool, with different genres of horror to explore & figure out. The environments are so beautiful, gross and wonderful to explore. Visuals are this game's strength.
I'm there for weird experimental co-op game on day one.
I'm not surprised, but still big yikes.

The main menu for Forbidden Solitaire, featuring a pc game jewel case, a receipt to a thrift store, a keyboard, and a mouse.
A peculiar creature, maybe just an eyeball talking to you inside a brick wall with a purple glow.
During matches of solitaire, messages pop up weaving the story surrounding the cursed game.
The game over screen featuring an eyeless man?
Just played the demo for Forbidden Solitaire and now I need the full thing. I really love cursed game storylines with genuinely enjoyable gameplay [solitaire is fun]. I love these unique twists and turns to the horror genre a lot. Count me in on release day~
