Movie posters and ratings for the following films, from my Letterboxd recent activity; all reviewed: •The Funhouse (3.5*, first-watch) •Machine Head: Elegies (4.5*) •The Conversation (4*, first-watch) •12 Angry Men (5*, first-watch)
A nice, weird little collection as usual for my #LastFourWatched this #LetterboxdFriday. Caught up on some great first-watches (but 12 Angry Men blew me away), with a little MfnH tossed in there as well 🤘🏻

My wife and I were way late on Goonies too! I think I had been saying “Hey you guys” like that for 15 years, among other references, without ever knowing why but picking it up from friends.
What is one of your ultimate comfort movies?
Ha- was literally coming here to mention what feels like about half of all White/Rob Zombie songs.
I’m surprised I haven’t thought of a dozen various other answers by now though. Good one.
Yessir! That *click* inside you when you recognize a still or a split second, or suddenly have dozens of previous references which flew over your head come rushing back to you all at once cause you’re finally in on it.
Nice! Yeah I’m generally skeptical, even going into “classics,” but this one definitely delivered for me. I’m interested to see what you think!
Like every time I meet someone who hasn’t watched The Shawshank Redemption or Breaking Bad etc; I’m JEALOUS. What I wouldn’t give to watch my 100 favorite movies/series for the 1st (or even 2nd) time again.
People often make fun of others’ odd information/pop-culture-gaps, but I say it’s great when applied to movies.
Filling in the blind spots and seeing some all-timers you’ve missed is such a treat, and that thankfully happened to me last night…

My favorite 4 first-watches of February:
•Godzilla vs Destroyah

•The Gentlemen

•Send Help

•Sisu: Road to Revenge

I was especially most surprised by The Gentlemen. #FilmSky 🎥 📽️
I caved and fixed it…
Ooops guess I didn’t read all the rules haha. Oh well; sticking with it.
Ok I had to do this one; had some fun with it! I’m excited to read some other entries too- I know there’s a ton I probably never even considered. I worked mine down from a shortlist of about 20 at the start.

Fun fact- this was the first movie we ever streamed; when we didn’t even think it would work the first time we tried it after Netflix launched that new option 🤣 Oh how far we’ve come!
The DVD menu for Abbot & Costello Meet Frankenstein, featuring eerie-tinted Frankenstein’s Monster, Dracula and the Wolfman above vibrantly-colored versions of Abbot and Costello with humorously-enlarged heads.
Good Sunday morning decisions.

Movie posters and ratings from my Letterboxd “recent activity”: •Tomorrow Never Dies (3.5*) •Eternal Sunshine of the spotless Mind (5*) •Sisu: Toad to Revenge (3.5*, first-watch) •The Muppet Show ‘26 (4.5*)
Putting not feeling good to good use at least. #LastFourWatched #FilmSky 🎥 📽️
Oh I just meant for the setlist at my Spinal Tap-curated cremation haha🤘🏻
Very excited to see what you’ve put together for this set- I’m sure it’s all gold.
Book/movie/collectible resale shops which use the shitty sticker-tags that are impossible to ease-off without ruining the case/artwork are the worst. Respect your domain.
I admit the irony is almost amusing though.
The whole thing is Spinal Tap- themed, obviously, so we’ll get to them all sooner or later. Tempting to keep Stonehenge for the encore/closer.
Colored-pencil card drawing of Mr. Bill, in the style of the 1976 Kellogg’s 3-D Super Stars set
50 years ago tonight, Mr. Bill made his first “Saturday Night Live” appearance.
Kinda saw that coming.
SD rainstorm
Thick, early-morning fog surrounding a little cemetery, with parking lot lights pushing through from the background and a tall, dark and leafy. tree in the left-foreground; all blurred and fuzzied by the fog.
This picture doesn’t do today’s thick, earlier-AM fog the proper justice, but it still looked cool enough to share from behind this little cemetery on my way to work.
Movie posters and ratings from my recent Letterboxd activity, all with reviews: •A Hard Day’s Night (4*) •Godzilla vs Megaguirus (3*, first-watch) •Thunderball (3.5*) •Predator: Badlands (3*, first-watch)
About to move on from my primarily-Godzilla/Bond rotation the last month+, but it’s been a lot of fun & made sprinkling-in other choices (Fab 4/Yautja) even more enjoyable.
The (seemingly) random similarities between the two franchises has been amusing

Words are cool.
Where’d you get those coconuts? 🤔
59/??? Bookending last night’s show with the two records we own.
It was a good concert, though probably not matching those peak performances from last decade. Fun to see that gypsy punk staying alive though.

Crazy how these things work out; started this little quest however long ago & here we are landing on one of my favorite live acts 1 day before I see them again for the first time in years. #NowPlaying #NowSpinning
