fuck yeah, thatβs the good stuff
/staring directly at Joe Torreβs blank face/
Yarbrough is the 13th Yankee going to the WBC.
one of a million couldβves from last year is that the Yankees couldβve won the division if they didnβt insist on punting with *two* rotation spots (Cookie & Stroman) for too much of April
2025 me is nodding furiously
shouts to Ben Gamel tho, true Yankees legend
this Braves lineup the Yankees are facing today in Tampa feels like one the league will get mad at for not bringing any real players on the road
George Lombard Jr. looked like an absolute dude yesterday. Hit a 109 mph EV double and made a Gold Glove caliber throw to nail a runner on a dribbler. He might have the best infield arm in the minors.
also I hope Jasson likes pierogies and Office B-tier character theme nights
on the plus side, they can no longer be inexplicably owned by random Randal Grichuk homers
/tearfully/ thatβs for you bitch
Oh no! Glad he's doing well. www.newsday.com/sports/media...

On behalf of Maz and his family, rest in peace to a legitimately very nice guy.
On behalf of my forever-grumpy uncleβ¦ well, weβll leave that unsaid. (Maz would laugh.)
Yankees baseball?? Yes!
Real Yankees baseball?? No, not really.
But hey, Jazz, Wells, and Elmer are playing so that's fun.
FYI: The Yankees play their first Spring Training game tomorrow (1pm ET). It's a road game with no YES broadcast, but it'll be simulcast on MLB Network and the Gotham app.
Top pitching prospect Elmer RodrΓguez is starting. Aaron Judge will make his spring debut Saturday.
Thanks to everyone who followed along on this offseason series! It was a fun look back at the biggest moves of yesteryear.
we salute the man who struck out on 2 strikes with champagne glasses full of sand, @imnotahrhitter.bsky.social
Weβre well into our 2026 Yankees season preview series:
this is the least opportune play involving Tony Clark since his ALCS Game 5 clutch hit in the 9th bounced into the stands at Fenway for a ground-rule double and Ruben Sierra had to stop at 3rd instead of easily scoring
/suddenly wide awake in mid-winter on a Sunday night/
JETAH WAS ROBBED IN '06 BY DIS GUY
I spend 7-8 months of the year trying to forget him, bot. Get outta here.

RIP βcreative cutsβ
A quick Camilo Doval note β the Yankees switched him from a one-seam to a two-seam at the end of August, presumably something they had in mind when they acquired him. More horizontal tail on the sinker after the switch, which ostensibly pairs well with his cutting fastball.
