Sony sees opportunity to take marketshare from Xbox while seeing new threat in Steam.
Exclusives still bring people to an ecosystem; Nintendo being a prime example. I'll definitely take my L on this one.

Resident Evil Requiem is phenomenal.
Grace feels like RE7 & Leon feels like peak RE4.
I decided mid playthrough to switch their perspectives…
Suddenly grace’s gameplay felt like RE2 while Leon felt like the end of RE8.
Capcom is running at max capacity.
I’d rather have loved Bloodborne and lost the chances of more Bloodborne than to never have peak FromSoftware again.
