Trump is afraid his deal with Putin will be exposed. The deal is that Putin betrays Iran in return for Trump betraying Ukraine. But both betrayals need to be hidden, which is why Russia shares intelligence with Iran. Therefore, de facto, Trump is also betraying his own military.

Indeed. And I have somewhat shifted my mind on this. 10 years ago I applauded Musk for what no democratic government was able to do (making electric cars usable and affordable). But I did not foresee how it would make him extremely powerful and that he would become a political extremist.
