My biggest opposition to a mid season rule change would be thar it might derail Mercedes. Seeing as Russell is my favorite driver.

Cars seem to be behaving more like racing cars then they were in Australia.

Uttering or writing "Not all heros wear capes" should be rewarded by a one way ticket to the Gulags

I find it hard to believe Iran has the capabilities to hit the US with drones. Maybe if they have ICBM's but no doubt they'd get intercepted in advance.

Don't want to be patronising but your art does bring a bit of joy to my day Richard. Particularly your street scenes of my hometown Cambridge. Thank you for sharing.

US responsible for deadly missile strike on Iran school, preliminary inquiry says Strike that killed at least 175 people, most of them children, reportedly the result of a targeting mistake by US military planners

How about telling us something we don't know?

I've been following #F1 for 45 years. Funny no one in 1981 was saying the racing was better 45 years earlier in 1936. Mostly probably because all my mates were only about 11.

Well only one driver was killed driving a V10.

They measure time and distance in a race is measured by time

I noticed that but my thoughts got lost in the myriad of other happenings. I want to see the times to the thousandth of a second. I quite often keep an eye on some of the gaps if I think something might develop from it and when it's 3 decimal places the times change more fluidly.

Well if the Ayatollah didn't have the cash for a couple of decent assassins, we'd all chip in to a Go Fund Me.

Some two bit South African celebrity whose name I don't recall. Boasting how she came 5th in some beauty poll or something. I replied was that 5th in your street? And like magic she just disappeared from my feed.

And not even a consoling hug from Anthony Hamilton. Tough.

Or alternatively give them more turbo power. Use the battery power to accelerate out of the corners and then have enough turbo power to carry on accelerating.

Maybe the real solution is for the teams to see if they've still got some 3.5L V10's still sitting out back

11.03.2026 12:14 ๐Ÿ‘ 1 ๐Ÿ” 0 ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1 ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Maybe (and I really don't know what I'm talking about here) because they have turbos. They can increase the turbo boost to give a bit more initial oomph and then gradual battery deployment (and flippity flip wings) will help carry the inertia down the starights

In fairness Ferrari were championship contenders in 1990 and Williams were uppish midfield so there was rationale behind his decision.

He was the champion of bad timing. Joined Ferrari as they hit their worst slump then left as they were on the brink of recovery and joined Benetton who were starting their descent to mediocrity.Obviously stood no chance at Sauber and then got to Jordan as they were just past being a competitive team

It may be good fortune we miss the Saudi #F1 race. I hate to think of the catastrophe awaiting with the potential speed differentials and the many high speed blind corners

11.03.2026 08:01 ๐Ÿ‘ 2 ๐Ÿ” 0 ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1 ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

I guess we'll have to see how it plays out and how the cars and drivers manage to optimise the tools at their disposal. I think a quick fix would be to limit the electric deployment rate so at least there's enough juice to get to the end of the acceleration zone.

Considering she was presumably hired soley for her genetic characteristics I think she does a pretty good job. She can still fuck off to hell though.
