Born in Fall. Never saw good weather. Beat a record storm, the cold. She even beat the wobbles enough to play in snow. Rare, here.
She got to see 2, perfect sunny days, & found the same favorite spot on both
The sickness came back Friday
Now, she's in her spot, for all the sunny days.

6+ inches of snow, gonna be at home for a while. Maybe get some stuff done?

Cats are fed & watered, paths cleared in the snow for 'em, they're all okay even the wobbly one. For now, need sleep.

certain pipes got frozen despite precautions, unfuxxored the hot water but cold water in one room of the house isn't working. It's a long line, so will have to try and figure it out later, but it's not fully screwed so I guess that's good.

Up to feed kitties. Light dusting of snow but nothing major yet. Checked things, and while I don't give a crap about the snow (grew up in a place with a lot of it), the storm might get an eyewall offshore.

Last check on kitty before storm. She's doing a bit better, she may just be hiding out because that bed is pretty warm in comparison to everywhere else she could be, and hopping out when nobody is looking. Watched her and once she realized food was up ate and retreated again.

I hate having to say it but yeah.
My biggest issue is that it's happening right in front of this storm. I'm anticipating a one-two punch here.

She's been deteriorating. Won't come out of her bed, haven't seen her eat, etc. Like I told some others before, it mimics a situation we had with another stray, where she beat wobbliness, then was just gone two weeks later.
Will try to update through storm.

Past the initial panic and in wait mode.
Ordered stuff delivered today but was delayed to end up coming tomorrow, and have to watch for that.
Other than that I really hope this ice crap doesn't actually land as bad as it said, or I really am screwed. ==;

been helping my mom after she slipped on ice, didn't think I'd be cursing ice even more in the coming days.
This could very well be a homelessness inducing event for me and I am not kidding

Heating is electric to boot, any power outages may actually put me in sub-freezing temps for days as my state is absolutely NOT prepared for this kind of thing.

Hey guys- haven't been doing catposts because she's fine, besides the perma-wobble.

However, it looks like I'm going to be dead in the middle of the big ice storm, in a place that's completely unprepared for such things.
And surrounded by pine trees, which like to fall.

Daily cat post- she's chilling in the yard area, sticking to it for the most part. The reason she's wandering is because she's strong enough now to want to do that. Paradoxical, but I guess it's okay. Gotta keep eyes on when I can.

this one has lived outside all their life, the others don't. This one is imprinted on the outdoors, doesn't want to stay inside regardless. Seems like they're sticking to the beds they've been made though.

Night check- they're running around the perimeter it seems, but not going too far. Put them back near the outdoor cat bed. We'll see tomorrow.

Cat is strong enough to wander and get lost again, and insists on doing so. Hopefully they come back from wandering-they know where shelter is- but there's nothing to stop them short of caging them. So it is what it is, I guess.

daily catpost- Might be the last one, not because she's worse or gone, but because there's not much changing besides she's doing fine besides being wobbly. Whatever illness they had is gone, the wobbliness seems to be sticking, but everything else is just fine. Dunno what else to say

She's actually kind of soft-furred now after getting cleaned up. She wants to play but can't, she shakes her head around trying to stay balanced for small things.
Might be why she wandered off in the first place.

She's still about the same, sleeps where all the other kitties are and they don't try to hurt her. Whatever sickness she had is gone- eye goo, snot, etc.- has been cleaned off for a while now. Still wobbly, but seems to be adjusting to be able to do stuff.

Someone was kind enough to take one, I don't deserve you guys honestly. I'm going to try and push that Annette one I mentioned before out soon, you guys will like it I'm sure.

Hey all, kitty seems to be doing about the same, so I'll say she's kind of "evening out." Still wobbly, but able to eat, drink water, pee, etc. on her own, but stumbly while doing it.

Hey all. New financial problems have arisen suddenly (an electric bill quintuple the normal) so I have to take on extra weight to eat.
