I’m confused. If Trump doesn’t have the authority to raise tariffs, who is actually listening to him and implementing them?

Two months ago the UK agreed to a deal in which the NHS has to pay £3bn a year more for US drugs.

The only thing we got was an agreement the UK would face no tariffs.

Now we are getting 15% tariffs on everything.

The deal must be torn up and no money stolen from the NHS.

When has Trump or his PAC of rapist protectors and scoundrels, grifters and extortionist ever followed a court ruling?

The US system at the moment can be imagined with the executive branch as a toddler on a chainsaw rampage, congressional parents watching the rampage in silent fond approval, and the judiciary reluctantly stepping in once a year to make him stop destroying one specific thing in one very specific way.

One of the maddest elements of Brexit - and there are *many* - is the rewards that continue to be lavished on the blithering idiots who sold it & continue to be proved wrong about everything every day…

It is so embarrassing that it has taken nearly a decade for a British minister to say this, a statement of the absolute bloody obvious

I don't debate with Trump supporters. I don't try to change their minds. I don't try to convince them that they are wrong or that they've been duped. You can't fix stupid. I want them to see and feel and experience the error of their ways the hard and painful way...

Can we ban all alleged great geniuses and cast them into outer darkness forever?

Voting Democrat isn’t blind loyalty. If you’re a D in office and you’re dropping the ball, I’ll be on your proverbial ass. Count on it.

Don’t hide behind fear, “protocol,” or “tradition.” If you think I’ll stay quiet because I vote blue...yeah...think again.

My mum had bombs dropped on her as a child. My dad bled on a beach in battle. I'm not yet bored of rules-based coexistence, because anger isn't the same as education, history isn't a comic, and interesting times don't just happen to someone else.

What's most amazing about this is the fact that the WSJ needed a “study” to figure it out.

Silly question, I'm sure, but...
Did *none* of his Republican opponents do *any* opposition research on Donald Trump during the primaries of 2015/16?
Like, he was besties with a pedophile ringleader.
He destroyed peoples' lives by not paying his bills.
He cheated all his life.
But they didn't know?

Just to be clear: the President is single-handedly dragging America to economic crisis and war with our closest allies.

And why? To conquer an overseas territory that we have no claim to, have never had a claim to, and already have military bases on.

Oh, and because he didn’t get a prize.

The current Democratic strategy is defensive containment.
A decisive strategy would be PREMPTIVE constraint.
Right now, Democratic leadership is betting that “Exposure + discomfort + procedure” will restrain Trump.

Experience says that’s a bad bet.

The thing is he’s not physically writing those posts and letters himself. Which means there’s someone in DC doing a lot of nodding while taking dictation and saying things like ‘do you want that in caps?’ And ‘how many exclamation marks, sir?’

- We don't want that either, but you're forcing our hand
- As a result USA will have no major allies, no military reach, no info sharing, a hugely reduced market, and fall behind on tech
- WE DON'T WANT THAT. YOU ARE FORCING OUR HAND

- Or... stop being dicks. It's up to you.
