Don't much blame Alexander Armstrong for his daft comments about being "poor". He can't know what poor is. He's posh & has not been around it to know the reality of it. A problem is that, that also applies to 99% of UK media people. Working class voices are absent from the discourse completely.
I'm a miller and O'hora doubter but I thought they both had their best games ever for us today. Bowie is excellent can't wait to see him start more. But I'd like to pick out Moraih-welsh. To hardly have played and be that energetic, confident and tidy on the ball. He was fantastic.
A Facebook memory reminded me of this article I wrote 3 years ago about the old East Stand at Easter Road.
The nostalgia I still have for that creaky old fire hazard is unmatched.

They are still pandering to the right-wing idea that people on benefits are somehow the big drain on society. PIP recipients get about Β£7k a year on average. Cut the amount or squeeze the eligibility and all you get is more dead people. Manslaughter for the markets.

I went a lovely holiday there in 1998...

Hibs have been good going forward again, but this game could end in any score. O'Hora for me is still miles off the pace of the league. Smith is better than Bursik but still has a disaster in him. If we could get a reliable gk and a better centre half in January I think we'll be ok.

When it comes down to it our finishing and final ball decision-making is still miles away. HOWEVER - three out of four games we've scored 3 goals which is a huge improvement and overall if you'd given me a nice performance and a draw or that - I'm having a big old slice of that every single time.
Yeah totally agree - saw them in Liquid Rooms last year - they were amazing but absolutely too big for the room - he has amazing stage presence and the voice is still great
His attributes as a CB seem to be
1. Can pass
2. Seems a nice bloke
*end of list*
He loses his man so often, is sleeping so often and his physical strength makes Paul Hanlon look like Thor. He escapes criticism completely.
The Hibs board will time it just right. When we've all simmered down after this debacle, they'll use that moment to sack Gray and install Malkay.
I think I'll then have to learn some sort of dance technique to be able to express myself properly. Words aren't going to cut it at that point.
This is my main defence for Gray. This squad isn't his choosing, it's what he's been lumped with. What goes against him is that discipline, attitude and confidence are all aspects I'd expect a manager to be instilling in the squad. We're nervous, rash and chaotic. At least some of that is on SDG.
Certainly one of the all time worst GKs we've ever had - and as Hibs fans know, that's REALLY saying something.
Complete unnecessary chaos every time. Directly responsible for at least 5 goals conceded this season already.
Unless Smith doesn't have arms - he needs to be introduced immediately.
Lisa is a great songwriter and I'm very proud to be drumming on this record. Give it a listen!
I was wearing my headphones and didn't realise how loud and high pitched I was shouting. Dog thought I was being savaged and is still running around the house looking for the perp.
A trading card image of football player Pat McGinlay. Detailing his 374 appearances and 79 goals for Hibernian FC. I once met him in the ticket office at Easter Road Stadium and he was very nice.
He played in sides where other players got more attention, but he was always my favourite. The team that had Sauzee, Latapy and Pat is my favourite bunch of players we've had in my time watching Hibs.
Lots of people saying how much they enjoyed the Supermoon. I also really enjoyed the Supermoon but I personally prefer Supermoon 2 with General Zod in it.
The stats don't completely damn him, but I genuinely think he's one of the worst GKs we've ever had which is really saying something.
He has punched every single member of our back 4 in the head, multiple times. No wonder they look nervous.

Yeah, unfortunately. I did some work with the club for a few seasons during the Leeann Dempster era and it is simply impossible to imagine her team presiding over this sort of mess. They would have laughed at the idea of appointing a racist, sexist, homophobic, gammon-based lifeform to run the show.
As a Hibs fan, I'd have to agree and remember we've not even reached the "Malky Mackay as Interim-Manager" part of the toxic death spiral yet. Anyone who thinks we're at the bottom of the arc is in for a shock, I think.
A brindle greyhound in a tartan romper suit, standing in the garden. He is handsome. You would like him.
I spent a fair bit of my recent time on twitter just moaning about politics and occasionally Hibs. This seems a much nicer vibe and I'm enjoying that so for my first post, I'll start with a picture of my dog Ralph in his tartan romper suit.
@el-clemente.bsky.social right then, I've decided enough is enough with the other place and took your advice to join this.
