In honor of the anniversary of The Haunting Of Hill House, here’s a flashback to the time I met @mikeflanaganfilm.com at The Stanley Hotel and gave him a physical copy of an essay I wrote about how much that show meant to me. I asked him to sign another copy, and he did! He’s such a great human.
I just read @mikeflanaganfilm.com’s latest Tumblr post about the creation of Hill House and what “the rest is confetti” means to him. It breaks my heart how hard that shoot was on him because the end result was…magic. It was light and it was warmth and it was love. It was perfect, that’s all.
