There's a small jazz festival happening in March within walking distance of where I live, and I feel like it will either be the greatest weekend of live music I've had in forever; or make me question why I like music in the first place.

#hobbystreak day 190: not much time today for hobby. All I managed to do was re-prime the Intercessors I stripped the paint from a Saturday.
My (allegedly full-time) job just cut everyone’s hours to save money and I’m now working three 6.5 hour shifts a week. If anyone would like to pay me to write or needs a part time FOH professional (20 years in hospitality), I’d love some extra work so I can stay alive.
I wrote and recorded this Lucerne Hammer song over the weekend in response to everything going down in Minneapolis.

#hobbystreak day 188: 1250 point 40k tournament at one of the local stores yesterday. My Chaos Marines won all three games, placed 2nd overall, and I won a plush squig for the "most sporting" prize. Good times!

#hobbystreak days 186, 187: built some Heresy Terminators yesterday and primed them today. Also stripped the paint from some ebay rescue Intercessors; and got two Inquisition Agents mostly done. Not my best painting, but a fun change of pace.
