Yeah. I retired early from my last job. I have always wanted to work for NASA and would absolutely love the chance to work for them, but not in this environment - my health is worth way too much!

OMG, ew. Let me guess. They will be expected to just do ai queries to their jobs. What could possibly go wrong?
OMG OMG OMG!!
I have been following Dianna Cowern (Physics Girl) since before she got long COVID. She has made her first new video in three years. Still in recovery, but this is awesome!

Oh, of course they do! LOL!π
It's like in gaming. Seeing the lunar eclipse restores your health just like sleep does, right? π€ͺ

OMFG. Texas (politicians) did something right! I guess even the devil is right twice a day (or is that a clock?). I don't fucking know.

Wait! They still make a 4:30 am?! I thought those were retired years ago.
Oh god. I feel so attacked.
Also, probably not wrong.
Astronomer friends! We're kicking off our 2026 series of JWebbinars with this even on March 4th, on #JWST science communications. Details and registration link below! π
Ah, now that one brings back memories. I got through it a few times, and it definitely took a pile of my money. My brother could regularly get through it in one play. π

Honestly, I've never tried them myself. Maybe they are tasty. π
"So this 'Silly Scope' thingy. How do I make it dispense food?"
Made a video talking about a few of the challenges I've been dealing with recently on my side (TLDR; unemployed as of today), and what exactly that means for my YouTube channel. If you can spare seven minutes, I'd really appreciate the watch and support. Thanks y'all.

How do rockets work?
A fire extinguisher is just a small rocket nozzle; a chair & cart make a good spaceship.
Does it work in space with no air to push against? The mass blasting out makes me roll. Doesn't need any backstop. Newton's 2nd law.
Good to have a landing plan - thanks @uwaterloo.ca!
Wow. She was really digging, trying to get a specific answer out of you. Thank you for sharing this. It was a fun interview.
Anyone particularly interested in my view on π½ #alien existence (yes very probably somewhere out there in the Universe: no we haven't evidence of them visiting here), here's a fun interview on Channel 4. I wasn't expecting "If they come, will they eat us?" π«’ππ©βπ¬

Was filling out a review for a certain company that had an AI bot reading my text, 'correcting' my words and changing the meaning of my review. I couldn't say what I wanted to. Maybe the bot was tuned to not allow negative reviews? I just gave up. I will switch products without giving feedback.

Wish I was in the area. That would be so cool to see!
Take a 200 pound person, and move them 10 feet = 2000 pounds of torque. It depends also on how far from the fulcrum (balance point) you are being moved. It matters mostly on takeoff and landing when you have to have a certain amount of nose-up pitch for safety, especially in gusty winds.
Reason
1: Potty break for controllers.
2: ATC checking social media (Bluesky, of course).
3: Adjusting for the airspeed of an unladen swallow (either African or European).
Holy crap, that was insane!
Iβve been on a lot of flights to some interesting places doing what I do, but that was BY FAR the most heart pounding landing. St Barth over the hill with some very interesting crosswinds today. Even the seasoned pilot said today was βinteresting.β
we need to talk about that Ring Super Bowl ad
OMG, so this!! πππ
I was yelling at the tv.
Bad Bunny FTW!!
The drone on a luge run is awesome
The drones sound like a banshee wail in the downhill. It is a really creepy, haunting sound.
On the bright side, the views from those drones is insane and unlike anything we have seen before.
