Laws existed in the US for quite a few years...maybe centuries...gay folk imprisoned,harrased,outed and lost jobs,designated a mental illness until the 60s.The US hasn't made being gay a death penalty, but the harassment has been odious,and real,sometimes leading to death..Pulse..

America has exported her hate..being gay is inherent not a thing you practice, not a lifestyle..it is Life...and presents in hundreds of animal species as well.I agree..this hate isnt part of many cultures
