Some beautiful moths from the Phil’s moth trap in Harrowbarrow, Cornwall, this morning. Definitely worth getting up early for.
Wonderful day yesterday doing a recce on Drakes Island off the coast of Plymouth, to see how easy it would be for a Bioblitz exercise for our students. Fabulous cormorant nesting site and lots of lovely inverts busy on the plants.
Some photos of the cool beasts we saw on the 1st year BSc Zoology field trip to Zahara de Los Atunes in Spain. Beautiful place and the trip was great, but the power cut was quite a wake up call.
