I think I found it a bit easier than many, from what I've read from other players. Definitely recommend casual mode if you don't wanna be too stressed out by difficulty. I played it on standard (modern) which allows infinite saves as opposed to standard (classic) which ties saves to ink ribbons.

Yeah it's very true. The first half was more compelling for me. There's a shift near the midpoint that I didn't love but about the 75% mark it takes another turn and ends very strong.

Solid recommendation from me. Alex does great work and I'm happy to support this show.

But if you wanted to play 8, you really need to start with 7. They're a singular story.

If you wanted the shortest (narrative) path to Requiem, pick up RE2 Remake and you would be good to move into Requiem after.

Personally I believe 7-9 are all excellent (8 especially) and the modern 2-4 Remakes are as well (2 especially).

Yeah, pretty much. You could make the argument that every Metroid Prime game is pretty linear but I think 4 is the worst at hiding it.

It still keeps me up at night, how I felt about that game.
