As Iβve progressed along my scientific journey, Iβve implicitly taken more and more responsibility for parsing information closer to the original source of data. In doing so, I hope to build both the literacy and confidence necessary to communicate it to a wider audience.
Up until then, I was largely a consumer of second- and third-hand sources of information when it came to climate science. These downstream sources were more digestible, granted they were also more watered down.
