Experiment 104 log. Day 5 - Entry 1: It has been two days since the expected denaturing should begin, and the resin looks like its holding. This is mildly concerning due to the human life we encased. If we cannot free Shana within the next 5 hours, I fear that we may have to give up on her... Hoping to bring good news next time i write. Experiment 104 log. Day 7 - Entry 1: Turns out we had a mannequin based off Shana and put that in the resin. Shana was found an hour ago, walking around the lab. The higher ups have requested her help again, this time we have checked, and we should be using the right type of resin. The higher ups also want me to get involved due to my unique ability to write logs while inside, so they ae preparing a tub for me and Shana as we speak. They want me and Shana to hug, I'm not sure why, but I will indulge them. I must end this log here. Here's hoping for good results! Experiment 104 log. Day 7 - Entry 2: I'm now within the tub, Shana looks scared. I'm telling her that everything will be ok, but I'm not sure if I fully believe that myself. They started the pour moments ago, so it's too late to ask for this to be put on hold. Getting into their requested position wasn't hard. Shana is incredible to hug! Soft and full of life, unlike the mannequins that people use to curb their loneliness. Honestly, even if we ended up sealed into this hug forever. I do not think I could complain. Experiment 104 log. Day 7 - Entry 3: The pour is complete and set. The higher ups decided they wanted me and Shana to kiss, but I managed to push back and stop that. We now stand still, frozen into the warmest of embraces. I like hugs, and it seems that for the next 3 days, this incredible hug will be my life. That's all for today.

Experiment 104 log. Day 8 - Entry 1: Time sure passes quickly, I had intended to write this log earlier, but its already nearly midnight. Hell, you could probably lose yourself in the permanent stuff and skip weeks at a time. That does mean that there's only another day or so before the resin denatures and we can be freed. This has been the best hug I could have ever hugged! You won't ever see these logs Shana Thank you. Experiment 104 log. Day 12 - Entry 1: There must be something wrong with my NIC's timekeeping ability. According to the date I'm seeing, this should be day 12. Surely that can’t be, we checked the resin barrels for signs of tampering when we received them, there is no way that these could have been the permanent stuff... Unless... There is no way to know for sure, but I will make a request for testing on the contents of the barrels. That should hopefully tell us what exactly we are in. I will await results. Experiment 104 log. Day 27 - Entry 1: The lights have been off in the lab for a while. I haven't seen anyone walking around, all I can feel is the slight twitches from Shana and the pressing tightness of the resin. Surely there is no way they forget about us, right? Another notable fact is the fact that the clock shows this as day 20 of our freeze. We should be dead, out of food and water. Something is keeping us alive, and I'm not sure what... Experiment 104 log. Day 757 - Entry 1: It has been two years since the last log. We are both somehow alive. Our block has ended up as a display piece for a wealthy individual, who had the excess cut off so its now just a perfect cube with me and Shana in the middle, hugging and smiling our permanent smiles. I saw a newspaper article on a nearby table. The lab had been shut down due to malpractice. This means that nobody is left that even remembers that there are real people inside this resin. Most would think we are merely models, cast to look pretty.
