So just to be clear the FA rule is that Emi Martinez is strictly forbidden from promoting betting companies except for every time he puts on an Aston Villa shirt

Santos Laguna was playing some pretty shit-house ball against us last year. So, no?
I love that Mexican clubs are getting to host this time. A road game against Toluca will be a much better test for the types of games weβll encounter in CCL.
This headline should read:
βGen X parents fucked up raising their boys.β
Iβve also seen creators talk about bridging the gap between now and D3 with a Destiny Classic game that effectively un-vaults all the D2 content with updated loot pools for the legacy dungeons and raids. That would be a great way to keep the community engaged, with little episodic DLCs sprinkled in.
Thanks for reading! Would love to hear your disagreements. Itβs clear that Bungie is putting D2 on the back-burner for now to ensure Marathon launches to a strong reception and finds its audience. So itβs good inflection point to consider what needs to be true of a D3 to rekindle our love.
Father to two teens, here. What are we doing to this generation of kids that stealing food is the vibe? π«
When youβve won everything there is to win, but still can scrape together an ounce of class.
Congrats! I got to 10 and then called it. Not a super great PvP player, but played the original Marathon games and Iβm sticking around for the vibes.
No objections there!
I will eat those dry. Or in yogurt like a parfait situation.
Iβm just really hoping theyβll open up an explore mode where UESC is still present, but you can move around the maps more freely and soak in the environs. I love Bungie sci-fi, but feel like the PvP and short time-to-kill is taking me out of the immersion.
Not bad. I prefer regular CTC, but itβs a fun little side quest.
Most of us didnβt have to suffer through decades of bad Mariners and Seahawks teams. Most of us didnβt have to deeply feel the betrayal of the Sonics being ripped away.
So we came in with unreasonable expectations for the Sounders and theyβve delivered.
What a lot of people donβt realize about the Sounders is that theyβre the only Seattle team thatβs beloved by transplants to the city.
I moved here in 2005 and brought the rest of my sports allegiances to town.
The MLS Sounders have been consistently great since Day 1. They set the bar high.
the same night that the US decided to slaughter dozens of Iranian schoolgirls in an unprovoked regime change war, Sam Altman announced a deal with the US military to let them use OpenAI products to kill people
Can he just die of a heart attack on the toilet, please? Then his death cult of dimwit evil personality will eat itself and we can try to rebuild some sense of sanity in our institutions.
If you are younger than 83, you have never seen the US drop a single bomb as a formally declared act of war according to its constitution.
ΒΏTres leches? ΒΏEn esta economia?
Iβm more of a day sword of the unbeliever guy.
Yeah, Iβm definitely speaking to D1 including the Expansions here. House of Wolves & The Taken King campaigns still hit.
Yep. Still people kicking around the patrol and social spaces too!
Do we really wanna validate the MLS is Back Tourney? π€£
Long way of saying, itβs time to pull the plug on D2. Reassess why we all love this franchise so much and take the time to build D3 correctly in that mold.
Difficultly (cont.). With the current power creep and enemy density in D2, I either feel like capital-g God or completely inept with almost nothing in-between. And the threshold between those two feelings is like enemies 30 levels above me or absolute bullet sponge bosses.
Difficulty scaling. Enemies at -10 your level are fish food, enemies at -5 your level can still be a problem in droves. At level enemies feel perfectly tuned in terms of health pools. +5 take strategic cover and smart reloading (e.g Praetorians). Anything beyond that is really hard.
Loot rarity (cont.). D2 is practically shitting loot at us now, but none of it feels special. Exotic engrams raining from the sky. Tier 5s with ridiculous perk pools. When everything is strong and slot-guaranteed, no loot drop is truly game changing.
Loot rarity. I was genuinely surprised by this, but starting from Level 1, I couldnβt believe how good it felt to get my first Legendary drop. Iβm almost 30 levels into my replay and I still donβt have an Exotic. When one finally drops Iβm gonna shriek with joy.
The gunplay, narrative, and style choices are all so crisp. Ducking in and out of public patrol spaces mid-mission (spaces that still have player populations today) is one of the coolest feelings. One of the feelings you lose when almost every activity in D2 is instanced.
