I once made an overtone flute that is over 5 feet long. : }
Sure! I can take video sometime. : }
More then happy to share!
I've used that method to make straight/round flutes and wooden tubes as long as 6' foot.
Hey EJ! : }
So the way I make those type of flutes is by using two different hole saws.
I cut out 2" rounds from a 3/4" thick board. (Pine, Maple, etc)
I then use a smaller ~1" inch holesaw to cut the insides out, making rings. The segments get glued together to make long straight tubes.
I love 70s Harmonia. : }
Their first 1974 album is forever on my playlist.
That looks really cool. : }
Thank you. : }
I've soldered all the little parts on these boards since that post was made. I've been slacking on uploading.
That's awesome, same here!
This is how I've always seen it.
You're welcome. : }
It's coming together. I recently soldered together a 10x12 version. I need to test it out. : }
Thank you. : }
That's cool. I didn't think about the lower impedance. learn something new every day. : }
I'm used to seeing the ground tap in the middle.
But doesn't really make much of a difference other then invert the output phase I guess.
I loved that book! I used to read it to my daughter when she was little.
Awesome will do! : }
I'll be uploading a video of the larger 10x12 keyboard soon.
Project for fun right now. but if everything works out and there is interest. Then I'm looking to make a small batch. ; ]
Hey Blod.
Yes. I've made some more progress on this. I'm building a bigger prototype now that is a 10x12 grid. : }
Awesome drone jam. : }
That's a weird reply to get from tech support.
Awesome. Microcontrollers can be fun. : }
I really like that font. : }
SMT is it's own monster.
I always start out with thru hole components and adapter boards. But as things get closer to completion. I switch over to the surface mount components. : }
Thanks! : }
Thanks Cris. : }
This instrument is a favorite for a lot of people.
Time to spend the holiday weekend soldering together some new sensor boards. Happy holidays! : } #tinyparts
I might be. I'll need to check out the game a little more.
Looks interesting from what I see.
I have composed for things in the past. : }
Always a fun time.
