The article published in the French Journal of Social Affairs (RFAS) (Vol. 253 - 2025/3) is part of the thematic issue on "The Regulation of Fatherhood" which explores the social, institutional, and family construction of paternal roles.
Based on interviews with 36 migrant fathers from North Africa and the Sahel living in France, we show how entry, residence, and nationality policies, intersecting with their own resources, shape their experiences of fatherhood at a distance.
