I think that being able to "create" those details in your head is one of the most important things when engaging with art, and helps explain why hyper realism doesn't age well

You can't do that with the 3.0, and that's fine. It's trying to make that imagination real, and it's my personal favorite

It's why I enjoy both the MG 2.0 rx-78-2 and the 3.0. They're both exploring different concepts and don't really "compete" in my eyes

There's something to the "less is more" approach that I would also assign to pixel art and early 3D video games

I would argue it is the ability for your brain to fill in the gaps with detail that the actual model/art lacks

I don't generally agree with sayla's more passive tendencies, but in this context she (and Amuro in this instance) is the most right out of all of us, period

I would argue it has to do less with the waiting and more to do with the learning and growing part, which isn't happening. People are more than okay with waiting if and only if that second part (learning and growing) happens. Otherwise the choice is between immediate violence or stagnation
