Caved in and finally started watching Heated Rivalry
Instead of going after Snyder they should be going after Gunn for making such a nothing burguer of a movie.
Not even now that they have a version that panders to them (sorry, not sorry)... le sigh.
Anyway, I think it's time for a Snyder MoS trilogy rewatch!
Hope there's more Benoit Blanc misteries coming in the future.

This movie has a pitch that feels like it shouldn't work, but Dan Trachtenberg shows here that he knows what he's doing.

2. I want an entire film with Elle Fanning kicking ass.
Didn't expect having to sit down and digest Predator Badlands. Can't make up my mind on it yet.
Few things I have clear: 1. Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi (and the VFX guys who worked on the Predator's face) did an amazing job getting the character's emotions across and getting you to care for him.
Fair. Haven't seen the movie yet, but you could see in the trailer those two had killer chemistry
That being said, more Monica Barbaro is always a good thing
So, I see we are reaching the "Grant Morrison doesn't understand storytelling" point of the discussion about Superman...
Fair enough. I guess I didn't connect the dots because the other Lucas projects usually came from an idea of his and Tucker was (IIRC) a Coppola passion project.
Wait... Wasn't "Tucker... " a Coppola movie?
@vivaldi.com Hey, guys. Love the browser but coming from Firefox, there's a (small) big thing that I wish you had: being able to open multiple Picture in Picture instances... niche thing, I know, but very useful at times.
Probably used as a temp score... But Horner still did a hell of a job with this cue, inserting the main motifs in it. Damn, what a loss.
Fortunately, there's always Android TV sticks.
I'm surprised (well, not really) the leaked messages were framed as proof that villanous Lively was hijacking the production of a victimized auteur, when they never contradicted her version that he was an incompetent and a creep.
-and following real people, not celebrities, to see how truly rotten parts of its society and as a system it truly is.
Same here. I haven't been to the US, but it was inevitable to see it as an aspirational place where everything worked as it should. Fortunately, coming from a hard left wing household, that illusion was promptly cracked... but even then, it took a while and getting into social media-
The United States - with acquiescence and support from Canada and other allies - is seeking to murder millions of Cubans and destroy the Revolution that has carried and embodied so many of our aspirations for a just world. This is effectively genocide and must be stopped.
I heard this one years ago in German class. A banger indeed.
I really thought you had seen this one before, but I knew it would be up your alley.
Some great old school entertainment, it's nice to see Affleck and Damon together on screen after too long.

Indeed. And the movies are particularly explicit about what happens when you try to compromise with them.

And Tenet, but fair (just to be clear, I love both filmmakers).
I'd say we have a problem when techbros conflate "censorship" with basic civility and decency online.
I'd argue there is something in D&P but it gets diminished by being a) a lesser movie than Logan that deals with similar subject matter, and b) a movie that devotes lot of its runtime to fan service.
To the show creators' defense, maybe a remaster of DS9 is above their paygrade?
Do you find it... risible?
