Here they can choose in some classes between an oral exam and a term paper. For the term papers we need to be rethink the whole system. AI is really tricky to deal with in a useful manner

In an apparent division of labour, the permanent members of the UN Security Council define norms and mandates for missions to which countries from the Global South provide the bulk of troops. While this would imply a clear hierarchical relationship, we show that troop-contributing countries have significant access to contestation. This chapter offers a comprehensive overview of how and to what extent the peacekeeping norm on the protection of civilians (PoC)—which is crucial to ensure mission effectiveness—has been contested by African, Asian, and Latin American troop contributors. The chapter also shows that the practices of the three regions influenced how PoC mandates were implemented, and debates the limits of these regions’ agency in contesting peacekeeping norms.
