2026-03-03: Iran Air Airbus A319 (EP-IEP, *2002) was destroyed by an Israeli/IDF air-attack while parked at the apron at Bushehr Airport(OIBB), Iran. Earlier on FEB 28, the aircraft was ferried to OIBB from Tehran to evade possible strikes. It is yet unclear whether there were casualties involved.
2026-03-02: United Airlines Boeing 787-9 (N24972, *2018) was safely evacuated after flt #UA2127 to New York-EWR returned to land runway 25L at Los Angeles-Intl AP(KLAX), CA and smoke billowing from engine #1. All occupants evacuated safely on the southern ramp.
