SPFBO 11 | First Chapterย reads!

Not to mention, when I seek out books to read, I simply do not trust books that only have a perfect 4 or 5 star track record. I like reading 3 star reviews because those often strike the balance between blind 5-star reviews and 1-star hate fests.
Additionally - at the end of the day, someone has taken the time to read a book, rate it, and review it... and the ratings/reviews are not for the author. They're for other readers. The author cannot and should not control how people respond to their works.
Fundamentally untrue. Some of the most thoughtful and interesting reviews I've received for my books have been 3-star reviews. It's not a bad rating. It generally means the reader enjoyed it. A 1-star review can be humbling but what makes them have "dignity" where a 3-star review doesn't?
I'm in! 1 like = 1 random line from one of my WIPs/ Published works!
It's me! Thanks for the spotlight!
