We’re still worried that she might pop it out of place cause of the was she’s been dramatically licking her chops, but she seems overall okay aside from the pain
She just got medicated because she looked pretty uncomfortable, we’re trying to plan out medication timing

We’re heading back home for now while they work on realigning her. It is a possibility that they aren’t able to do it, and if they do, it also has the possibility of popping out of place again. The heartbreak I feel for her is so immense, I’ve been on the verge of tears all damn day
She’ll be on a very soft food diet and medicated until we can get a dentist
We’re hoping she’s willing to eat by herself
I’ll be keeping her monitored while my sister is out for work
The estimate healing time is 3-7 weeks
But we need a dentist to confirm
Update: they’re going to sedate her again and try to align her jaw
There’s no skull fractures, so she just damaged her jaw pretty bad
Two molars were cracked and a root might be exposed
They said she may be able to heal on her own as she is still a kitten and kittens can possibly heal bones

If anyone needs it for any reason, this is the estimate price for everything
This does not include any surgery she may need if she needs it
We think her head got placed between the door and doorframe while it was closing, which is why it’s jaw damage not brain damage
She was all the way across the room and suddenly bolted hella fast towards it while it was closing
We unfortunately couldn’t stop the door before it caught her head
They’re going to see if they can realign it, hopefully they can and it doesn’t pop out of place again.
