That pitiful excuse for a fight with Tyson felt like it had nearly killed him. What a mess. He wanted to be angry. He wanted a lot of things. On the way to the office he had felt Muriel’s massive fist wrap around him once again, squeezing the air from his useless lungs, knowing he'd be crushed like a packet of crackers were he human. He had caught, and he had floundered as the pain came back to him like a haunting. He had been afraid.

Hi Elsie! I've a self published novel. Though because I used AI tools to edit it, I don't really advertise it. It was a learning experience for me more than anything else.

As for poems, I just write them when I'm in the mood to write them :)

Sana is the star of the show for the next chapter or two. As an orphaned all-gendered cougar/puma, she has quite the story to tell.

Still plenty of editing to do, but I'm really starting to feel this chapter.

I like to outline, then write in order, though that writing still includes temporal jumps according to the same outlining.

That said, I wrote the prologue of this WIP entirely out of order. It was a great way for me to find out where I wanted the novel to go.

I generally agree, but no one is obligated to conform to social norms. Best be the change we want to see.
