Let’s not let US agendas completely drive our politics. We don’t need to frame everything their way. It’s time for a reset. At some point controls on online algorithms but first let’s legislate for proper fair coverage of all our parties on broadcast media.

Let’s not let US agendas completely drive our politics. We don’t need to frame everything their way. It’s time for a reset. At some point controls on online algorithms but first let’s legislate for proper fair coverage of all our parties on broadcast media.

Agreed. Im personally a mix of the UK in makeup. I would say we’d never really had a 2 party system but that has been the perception in media. The point of this petition is to ensure we hear voices from across these isles. &yes we need to hear& understand the NI parties. Largely ignored in uk media

It’s clear we no longer live in a 2 party system but to be informed we need to understand ALL our elected parties not those cherry picked by the media. Against the odds, several parties are doing well but we hear nothing about them. Time for change? Sign here

If you want to hear more from voices working in your name rather than what feels like a diet of one, demand better coverage of all our parties by the broadcasters. Some have had huge rises in MPs yet we hear nothing of their work Demand more democracy not less.

5 parties within points of each other in polls. All minorities now Different dynamics in Scotland, Wales & NI - SNP, Plaid etc YET we’re told in 2029 it’s about one man destined for no.10. We demand an end to overplayed narratives & coverage for all parties now

There’s a separate issue over whether the internet & algorithms should be legislated for so that there is a plurality of voices. Alas much of that is controlled from America. Big questions on how we sort that. ATM I’m seeing only 2 political faces constantly - one from US and one from UK
