I think the anti-UB contingent likes to stoke outrage whenever they believe a UB set is failing. They acted similarly vitriolic around SPM but were silent around Avatar.
And it’s understandable those formats would have more anti-UB players. They’re still not the majority of ALL Magic players.
The rabidly anti-UB crowd just assumes that they make up the majority of MTG players and shout down anyone who asks for evidence of that. Don’t fall into their trap.

Obviously it’s not because it just came out, but you’re going to dismiss any positive UB sales info anyway.
I’m accusing you and your fellow rabid UB haters of treating your own anecdotal evidence as better than sales figures from a publicly-traded company — which has said three UB sets are the top three best-selling MTG sets of all time.
Funny how the prerelease turnouts for UB sets are always the lowest at stores frequented by MTG social media pundits and content creators who hate UB. I'm sure your anecdotal evidence is totally real and trustworthy and WOTC sales data is fake, makes sense.
The only people complaining at my prerelease were the judges, who were acting quite rude about UB in general. Actual players had a good time, all agreed the designs were miles better than Spider-Man.
The disappointing results for SeaWorld and Busch Gardens parks in 2025 have the chain focused on boosting future revenue by finding ways to monetize its real estate.
