Today is the 1 year anniversary of the release of my first book: Mason Gideon and the Caves of Fate.
It has been such a fun and rewarding experience and I wanted to take a second to thank all of you who have supported this book and want you to know how much you are appreciated.
Just picked up the first copy of my next work in progress. Nothing like editing a first draft to show you all the mistakes you made!

Mason Gideon and the Caves of Fate: Anniversary Celebration, day 3!
Today we’re going to follow the progress that our book cover went through. From my terrible scribbling of an idea, to Andy - who is our cover artist - absolutely giving a masterclass in what a book cover should look like.
After they no longer lived in the same state, they stayed in contact, and one day Kevin said, “I have an idea for a book. Do you want to write it together?” Rachel said, “Sounds fun.” And so, Mason Gideon was born.
Rachel Green and Kevin Rodgers met nearly a quarter century ago while working at an old, haunted movie theatre in Illinois where they bonded over playing Scrabble, eating giant chicken sandwiches on focaccia bread, and reading Shakespeare out loud with Kevin trying to do all the voices.
Rachel Green lives in Waukesha, WI, with her husband, daughter, and son. She is the owner of an in-home childcare where she tells stories and plays with glitter all day. When she isn’t writing, Rachel enjoys reading, eating ice cream and going on hikes. She also has published three adult books.
