We've started blocking out the lobby area for our new #UEFN horror game, using a quick, simple layout and a lighting pass to get the initial mood set.
Procedurally generated levels, multiple ghost types with unique AI, randomized objectives, and more cool stuff! π±π€―
Update 1.03 has been deployed and will be live in a few hours, fixes include:
- Retro graphics filter toggle in lobby
- Skip the intro toggle in lobby
- Performance and gameplay improvements

until you have the correct amount of actors needed for the use case, so when RoomCurrentObjectCount >= RoomObjectCount, then do stuff, else keep looping the getter until it does π¨βπ³
ah that information is critical, it sounds like one of those "it just doesn't work as expected" issues in UEFN, it could be a weird race condition with actor inits or some limitations with the find method, if a traditional approach doesn't solve the issue, you can always just keep deferring the loop

it's probably because those actors are inside a grid that hasn't been loaded and FindCreativeObjectsWithTag is querying actors that are currently in memory
