Akershus castle, Norway
Picture painted on the basis og a camera shot late afternoon feb. 9th. This castle was started ca year 1200 and rebuilt/modified as a fortressed renaissance castle around 1600. It’s facing the harbours of Oslo and was meant to protect both the old.(Water colours 30x40 cm)

A very nice town with a lot of places where you can have a nice view to old houses in the small streets or around the squares. I fell for this narrow red house behind the roundabout.
Shows the kitchen in Munchs first owned house as it was left when he last visited the house. To the left a window with some leaves on the outside, then a cupboard hanging in the corner, a yellow chair under it, a small cupboard hanging on the kitchens light azure timber wall, a red drawer underneath, a small table with an electric plate on top of it with a blue enameled coffee kettle underneath some aluminum water kettles. Hanging high on the wall, a shelf displaying five dinner plates. The lights come in through the window at the left side and fades a leaves shadows and a more greenish hue on the walls.

A n imagined sunset as seen from land towards a horizon over a sound in the Baltic Sea
After a long inactive period, I figured I draw an imagined sunset. - Just to kick myself into more demanding work.-
This sunset is as we sometimes can see it from our summer stay in Bornholm, looking at the Baltic Sea and the coast of Skåne, Sweden in the horizon
In front of fields flowers and grass. Then the big tree 2/3 of the picture, Background a small part of a fortress ruin. Blue sky with some small clouds.
