I love cars, and I love the 80s, and I LOVED this exhibit at the Petersen Automotive Museum. A screen-used DeLorean Time Machine and a flying motorcycle from “Galactica 1980” were just two of many highlights.

If you are a Funko fan, and are anywhere near Hollywood, you’ll want to spend some time in their LA flagship store. Really fun!

I feel like I say “I hate this timeline so much” almost daily now.
“The National Film Registry Is The Warmest Place To Hide.”
(So glad Carpenter’s “The Thing” was FINALLY added… about 4 decades late, but whatever.)
Man, I have really gotten out of the habit of posting here…
SO:
I had a lovely visit to the Mt. Wilson Observatory here in SoCal; please enjoy.

Godzilla (a toy), looks at you and waves, with a snow-covered Mt. Fuji in the background, wishing you Shiawasena Kyujitsu, or Happy Holidays in Japanese, with sincere wishes for a wonderful 2026! (Also from me, Robert)
Eddie Sotto passing is a monumental loss. A legend gone far too soon.
#Imagineering has lost one of its greatest talent with the passing of #EddieSotto, who was both a colleague and friend. We spent a night where Eddie gave his time and suggestions for #RocknRollerCoaster when it was due to open. Eddie will be missed.

Rob Reiner: I'm going to make a coming of age drama, a fantasy adventure story, a romantic comedy, a psychological horror and then a courtroom drama.
Us: Across your entire career?
Reiner: In a 6 year period.
Us: That sounds-
Reiner: -Each one will be arguably the best movie in that genre.
I just want to once again congratulate every business and media outlet who tripped over their own dicks to take right-wing outrage in uncritical good faith and ruin peoples’ careers over extremely tame internet comments about Charlie Kirk 48 hours before immediately forgetting he ever existed.
Del Toro’s Frankenstein is breathtaking. Cried at the end. See it on as big a screen as you can.
I got to check out a fantastic little museum of vintage automobiles this weekend, the Motte Vintage Car Museum in Menifee, CA. The '57 Thunderbird coupe is sooooo fine.

They really are very pretty. So pretty. But, yeah...
Movie screen with the “Avatar Fire and Ash” logo, before a screening begins.
Guild screening, here we go…
Political cowardice in our time: No figure from either party has so far issued a statement in support of Paul Dano.
LMAO, what a memory. I was standing in line for the back row with Allen Ambrosini when the train pulled back in. 🤣
The boats the regime is claiming are going from Venezuela to the US would need to refuel over 20 times to get to Miami.
They are lying to us.
ICYMI, for those last-minute gift needs. 😉

"Atomic Rocket" Roller Coaster T-Shirt!
Midcentury graphic design is an aesthetic that I love and this shirt aims to capture that look for a space-age themed roller coaster that would have debuted in the late 1950s/early 1960s.

Sooo this is me, I make stuff to try to pay for stuff. If you could, please like, share and follow, and maybe buy something if you can, I’m hoping to continue but funds are drying up fast.
A way better sequel that it gets credit for. "Prey" is probably my second fave after the original, but this one is so strong.
Even though I really only like the first of their Mummy movies, I am so down for this.
