The holidays are good.
I have a cousin this year who is co-hosting with me and it has been life changing. I went from being in the kitchen for 3 days to choosing what dishes bring me joy and making those. It has been amazing.
Through a series of unintended events, we were watching Return of the King last night and I was eating a lightly toasted chocolate fudge pop tart while Pippin sang Edge of Night for Denethor.
It was uncomfortable.
