The Grifter in Chief is at it again.
He doesn't just deserve to be impeached for this kind of shit. He needs to be sent to prison for it.
@clearsonnyday
I'm just a working-class left-of-center leaning guy (in a very red-state) who pays close attention to national and international political news and events. Normally pretty laid back, but what's happening these days isn't even close to normal.

Equador has done an 'If you can't beat them, join them' and partnered with the US military to help make sure they don't get Venezuela'd/Iran'd.
I'd never heard of anyone referring to their privates as 'my cooking' before. π
AOC: He impulsively went in on Venezuela. He impulsively went in on Iran. It led to increased global instability and every time heβs done that, it has been consistent with a spike in what is happening with the Epstein files. I think that he feels existentially tied to it.
Cornyn edged him out, but Crooked Paxton gets another chance at it in a runoff.
Hopefully they both now go scorched earth and leave whoever is left standing hobbled in the general.
Crockett was my fave, but Talarico stands the best chance to peel off conservative votes. Congrats and game on!
Statement from Jasmine Crockett.

Fuck Cornyn too but ANYONE would be better than Paxton. That MFer's even more crooked than Trump & co.
Yeah, BUT that crooked MF'er is going to get another shot at it because TX is a runoff state and neither he nor Cornyn will hit 50% threshold.
So Paxton will get another chance in a runoff to see whether he or Cornyn can get more of the spoiler votes Hunt got.
They call the Department of Defense the Department of War, but then say their war isnβt a war because itβs preemptively defensive.
There's also some BS happening around the Dallas votes.
I completely forgot TX is a runoff state, so Hunt is playing spoiler in that Cornyn and Paxton, neither of which looks to be able to get to that 50% threshold to avoid it'll then face a runoff.
So Paxton will be getting another chance decided by who can get more of the votes that went to Hunt π¬
I don't know if the larger counties coming in later will be enough to push her over, but I do expect that gap should start to close some.
Sucks to see Talarico leading Crockett in Crockett county though.
Good to see Cornyn leading Paxton. Hope that holds. ANYONE is better than Paxton.
Maybe, but it aint over yet. I'm not seeing anyone calling it yet.
Crockett is leading Talarico in the larger cities.
Dallas 0% in
El Paso 0% in
Baxar (San Antonio) 0% in
As a lifelong progressive in a very very red Trump-loving part of the country, I could not be more aware. Every waking hour of every day.

I may not get AOC this time, just as I didn't get Bernie in 2020, and that's OK. I still fully supported Hillary in Nov, just as I'll do again with whoever the Dem party nominee is 2028.
AOC isn't a third party though. The Dem establishment doesn't have reason to do what they did to Bernie.
AOC is extremely popular on the left though. Way more so than many realize. More than Bernie was.
If she runs I'll support her throughout the primaries, just as I did Bernie for the same reasons.
But when all is said and done, come November it's a vote for whoever is on the Democrat on the ticket.
