Desperately seeking leftie sewer rats from #auspol Twitter. Rebuilding community here. Voted Yes. One of 40 dirty lefties despised by Dutton from the bird platform. Don’t be like Dutton. Be kind to one another. Hoping ALP finds backbone to be ALP. πŸ³οΈβ€βš§οΈally

The greatest risk to our national security is a gormless Deputy PM making life & death decisions based on US sycophancy.

And a PM who has shown little sign of reining him in.

A perfect example of why NO decisions to commit the nation to war should be made without full parliamentary debate. #auspol

Trump pardons a paedophile who is also a capitol rioter. The less Australia has to do with the US government the better. Leave AUKUS now. #auspol #trump #aukus

#albo #auspol, call out what ALL Australians, are witnessing right now. This is an illegal war so listen to Australians right now or your tenure as PM will end at the next election.

You should also remember, Australians never ever forget.

Now that Albanese has abandoned the international rule of law and approves the killing of leaders, the carpet bombing of cities etc and, knowing our complicity makes us a legitimate target in a similar way ..

Maybe we should re-think the building of data centres in suburbs where people live?

One Nation seeks a foothold in Farrer as it names byelection candidate David Farley will contest the New South Wales seat of former Liberal leader Sussan Ley in May ballot

Hey Guardian ( @australia.theguardian.com ), and editor ( @lenoret.bsky.social ):

Can you explain why whenever an independent is mentioned, you say "the Climate200 backed independent"

but never "the Gina Rinehart backed One Nation candidate".

Why not?

Electrifying all road freight between Sydney and Melbourne is a no brainer: The payback is less than 4 years The economic case for electric trucks in Australia has become outstandingly clear over the past couple of years, and the payback period is just two to four years.

Makes sense for Australia in so many ways #auspol

β€œBattery powered trucks that can carry 60 tonnes already exist, and are purpose designed with 450 km plus of range and are capable of being recharged in an hour. They are better than diesel trucks in every way”

This story is worse than the blurb makes it sound and I'm so sick of even READING about sex pests & high-ranked pervs & pedophiles & creeps & violent horrible men let alone having to be in the same world. When will girls & women be allowed to taze aggressors? Too dangerous an idea? COMPARED TO WHAT.

With LLMs, developers are QAs now.

Developers generally being surprisingly bad at QA* could not possibly be a problem with this model.

If you consider yourself a leftie, you really need to be voting Green and preferencing Labor and Teals. It's as good as you are going to get for the time being. You don't have to wuv any of them. But keeping the Coalition out is a sound tactic. #auspol #SoAnywayVoteGreen

07.03.2026 04:41 πŸ‘ 15 πŸ” 4 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

People need to accept that Labor is centre-right, not left. Coalition is right to far right depending on the reigning internal faction. Teals centre-right only because environmental issues are considered "left". Greens are centre-left. Most other minor parties like PHON are far-right. #auspol

More than 180 authors quit writers' week. Many returned for a DIY replacement Constellations emerged from the ashes of Adelaide Writers' Week, which was cancelled after authors withdrew over censorship. Organisers share how it came together and lessons for the future.

We stood together against anti-Palestinian racism and they cancelled our festival. So we organised our own.

Very tired now, but very proud of Constellations!
